Founder and Spiritual Director
Craig is an accomplished teacher, writer, lecturer, and psychotherapist who has authored books and recorded CDs on spirituality and meditation. The former Pastoral Administrator at St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Church, Craig earned graduate degrees in Religious Studies from the University of Notre Dame and in Clinical Psychology from the University of Duquesne. His broad and diverse education includes extensive study in psychology, spirituality, mysticism, world religions, and yoga.
Vickijo is the creative force behind The Assisi Institute’s music program and many of its workshops and classes. In private practice as a psychotherapist for more than 25 years, Vickijo has a master’s degree in counseling psychology as well as an undergraduate degree in voice and education.
Adam assists with the day-to-day management of The Assisi Institute. His responsibilities include planning and helping to facilitate The Assisi Institute’s various ministries and program offerings, property management, policy development, graphic design, marketing, printed and online communications, fundraising and strategic planning. Adam has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in Recreation and Leisure Management, as well as a certificate in Nonprofit Management, from The State University of New York at Brockport.
Ursula is the director of the Saint Clare Center for Contemplation at The Assisi Institute. She oversees the retreat center, coordinates retreats, facility rentals, volunteer coordination and helps with event design, planning and facilitation. To The Assisi Institute, Ursula brought with her her many years of experience at Bethany House, where she supported operations and counseled its residents. Her care and spirit of service benefit The Assisi Institute community through her love for wellness related programming and her mentoring efforts of spiritual direction.
